School Programs

Objective:
Creating healthy hygiene practices amongst primary school learners throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

Execution:
Industrial Theatre featuring Captain Dettol and his friend Germy Jane. Taken to schools throughout Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Impact:

  • Reached millions of learners in schools
  • Learners received a free bar soap
  • Parents were also involved and educated on healthy hygiene practices and we promoted the Dettol brand to them in the process
  • Formed a partnership with the Ministry of Health and Education in Zambia and Namibia which allows us to continue to roll out the programme at schools.
