Cape Talk: SA digital agency wins a Shorty award

South African digital agency, Triple Eight, has won two gongs and a bronze award in the annual Shorty Awards which honors the people and organisations that produce the best real-time short form content across social media.
It was recognised for its innovative WhatsApp Mathbot, which it developed together with Nestle as part of its Math Moment Campaign.
This sought to address the challenges of poverty and inequality faced by children in the country, which is consistently ranked among the lowest in the world in terms of its maths abilities.
